Here is some important information about the event.

dedicated to helping veterans.

Important Reminders

1. Please do not park on the street.

2. Leave furry friends at home.

3. Bring CASH for raffles and vendors.

4. COME READY TO HAVE FUN!!

Parking Information

Helpers will be directing traffic. Please see the map below.

Show Cars

• Pull into the driveway and turn right about halfway up onto the grass.

• Continue across the yard to the right side.

• Circle around the mulched area and drive back toward the driveway.

• Back into your parking spot.

• Your car’s front will face uphill, and the rear will face the lavender field.

Non-Show Cars

• Pull into the driveway and continue to the mulched area.

• Turn left and proceed uphill to the back of the property for parking.

What to Bring (and What NOT to Bring)

Please Bring:

• Cash for food, raffles, and shopping

• A lawn chair (there are several shady spots under the trees)

• A smile — we like happy people!

Please Do NOT Bring:

• Pets — our two dogs are already upset they’re not invited!

Food, Drinks & Shopping

• Breakfast and lunch sandwiches, chips, and drinks will be available for purchase from John’s Backyard Beefstro.

  • Cash, check, and Venmo accepted

  • A donation jar for CHEP will be available in place of tips

• Complimentary popcorn, ice water, and limited lavender lemonade will be available in the Lav-Shak.

• Lavender products, sweets, and Cruise & Bloom T-shirts will be available for purchase in the Lav-Shak Shop.

• Tables and chairs will be available inside the Lav-Shak for eating or relaxing.

• Enjoy live music from a great band playing pro bono on the front porch.

• A portable restroom will be located on the right side of the Lav-Shak.

Raffles & Baskets

• 50/50 raffle tickets will be sold throughout the event by helpers walking around.

• Raffle baskets will be displayed inside the Lav-Shak.

All drawings will take place at 1:30 PM.

Lavender U-Pick Information

Lavender U-Pick will be available while supplies last. Unfortunately, the late frosts affected some of our lavender, so please be gracious.

How It Works:

1. Visit the Lav-Shak to pick up a tube (or two) and scissors.

2. Review the procedures on how to cut

3. Fill your tube with lavender stems.

4. Return to the Lav-Shak to pay for your bundle(s) and browse the shop.
